Who are we?

We’re a couple, in both life and work

    I am German, I’ve worked in human resources and in childhood-related domains.

    Working with my hands fulfils my daily life!

    I'm a mother of 2 fantastic young children. I’ve travelled all over the world for my work and I landed in Belgium (fortunately as Manu says) about ten years ago.

   I’m Belgian, I worked in the world of food, from cooking in restaurants, to production, transport and distribution.

    Creativity drives my life!

    I'm also the father of 2 fantastic young children and I waited a long time for Annette's arrival ;-).

Why this life change in June 2019?

   A search for a more meaningful professional career, closer to life, closer to our children and more in phase with a world in which we are tenants and not owners, led us a year ago to reflect on a new professional future.

    By chance, we met Pedro Miguel, a wax artist based in Meudon, who was then trying to pass on his know-how.

    This gave birth to Les Artisans Ciriers Bruxellois.

   It’s a manual, enlightened and ecological project, and we’re proud to explain the reason for this choice to our children!
